Audrey Roloff gets real about postpartum lactation in an Instagram post

Audrey Rolloff let fans step into postpartum life.

On Monday, the “Little People, Big World” star shared a video with his over 1.5 million Instagram followers, revealing an ongoing thing that’s been going on since the birth of his 8-month-old son, Radley.

In the video, the 30-year-old candidly reveals footage showing lactation stains on her shirt from breastfeeding, with text that reads, “I have an 8 month old baby but this still happens every times I breastfeed her.”

“Shouldn’t it stop after the first few months?! I’ve been breastfeeding my third baby for 8 months and yet here we are,” she captioned the Publish. “It happens every time I breastfeed without the pads. In the last photo, I was sitting up when it happened. My breasts aren’t that low…yet. It’s especially cute when I forget the nursing pads for a date. Other moms are talking?! #breastfeeding #breastfeeding #breastfeedingmom #maternity #momlife.”

at Roloff’s video received applause for “normalizing the fight against breastfeeding” and comments from other mothers who found her post “very relevant”.

“Does it ever stop doing this? #nursingpadsforlife”, an Instagram user jokedwhile another added, “Daughter, I’m turning 18 and it still happens almost every time.”

“Every morning!” someone else sharewith a laughing emoji.

A fan writing : “Yup! It happens to me every time! I literally live in nursing pads.

“I was a real milk factory, like that! » commented another one.

“Honey you’re not alone…it was me for a very long time with every kid too”, someone else added.

“It’s very relevant”, another wrote. “Thank you for normalizing the fight against breastfeeding. People need to learn!”

This isn’t the first time Roloff has spoken with her followers about her postpartum journey.

Last November, she shared several intimate photos on her Instagram Story, including a photo of her baby bump taken just an hour after giving birth to her son. She and her husband, Jeremy, opted for a water birth at home.

“The hour-long postpartum mirror selfie,” she said. wrote. “God created our bodies to do miraculous things like bring life to the world.”
