Dad Says He’s Getting Back With His Ex After Dragging Breastfeeding Battle

The internet trolled a dad who said he was getting back together with his ex after they argued over her breastfeeding their son in private.

Posted on Reddit’s “AmITheA**hole” forum, female with username u/evie364 shared his storyearning 5,000 upvotes and 2,000 comments.

The Redditor began by explaining that her ex-husband hangs out with their son for two hours a day. When it’s time for their son to feed, she takes him to another room where she kicks out her ex so she can breastfeed him in private. For a moment he didn’t say anything about it, but she noticed he was getting upset.

When a mother breastfeeds her child, the child has a reduced risk of health problems such as diarrhea, SIDS, asthma, leukemia, celiac disease, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as childhood overweight and obesity, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics.

One day, he got mad at the situation.

The internet has slammed a dad for saying he would move back in with his ex-wife after a breastfeeding row.

She wrote: “He said I was ridiculous since he had seen me naked hundreds of times and I was deliberately cutting his time with our son. He wouldn’t leave the room when I asked him to, so i ended up having to feed my son in front of him because he was hungry and crying. He told me today that he was going to come back and live with us.

Written in response in the comments section, the original poster (OP) stated that her ex-husband came “when he had time”.

The editors were quick to share their opinions in the comments section.

“He ‘told you’ he was moving back in? No, no, no. He doesn’t have your consent to see a part of your body that you don’t want him to end the story with. The previous consent does not equal current consent,” u/Abba_Zaba_ wrote, receiving top comment with 10,000 upvotes.

They continued, “He also doesn’t have your consent to reside in your (not ‘our’, YOUR) home. Call your attorney right away. Leave reddit and call your attorney.”

U/prairiemountainzen said, “Uh, what? Seems like this guy has no respect for you or your boundaries. [Not the A**hole].”

“If you don’t feel safe or comfortable breastfeeding in front of him, don’t. Don’t give in to his manipulation. You have every right to privacy,” said u/SomethingComesHere .

“And then ‘declare’ he’s coming back. Apologize, it’s not your sovereign nation you’ve titled non-existent parent,” u/honeymochie wrote.
