Are you a 24-and-under mom? Do you live in West Leeds? Are you pregnant or did you give birth in 2021/22?
In March, Leeds Bosom Buddies and Women’s Health Matters are running a series of listening workshops in inner city neighborhoods around their food experiences or planned food choices.
They want to hear about your food experiences, your choices and what you would like to see in Leeds about it.
The aim of the workshops is to help increase support for new mums in Leeds and break down barriers to accessing groups in their area. We hope to co-produce better service with the parents of this age that we serve.
They offer a voucher for your time and can reimburse bus tickets. Thanks to the generosity of Armley and Bramley & Stanningley Ward Councilors in these areas, they are able to offer lunch/brunch and a ‘double the voucher’ incentive.
The available dates are:
Friday, March 11, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the Chapeltown Children’s Centre, 62 Leopold Street LS7 4AW.
Monday, March 14, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Armley Community Hub, Stocks Hill, Armley LS12 1UQ.
Wednesday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Bramley Resource Centre, 79 Fairfield Terrace, LS13 3DQ.
Monday 21 March, 11am-12.30pm at Gipton South Children’s Centre, Coldcotes Grove, Gipton, LS9 6QJ.
Wednesday 23 March, 11am-12.30pm at Burley Park Children’s Centre, St Matthias Street, LS4 2DZ.
Monday, March 28, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Tenants Hall, Acre Close Middleton LS10 4HX.
